I attended the recent premiere of Timur Bekmembatov’s genre mash-up, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and was lucky enough to steal a few minutes with some major players: Benjamin Walker, Rufus Sewell, Marton Csokas, Anthony Mackie, and the screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith, among others.
Sadly, producer Tim Burton and director Timur Bekmambetov scurried away before I could stop them, but regardless, I was able to get some pretty interesting answers from a lot of the cast.
A definite highlight (which unfortunately was not caught) was Mackie coming up to me at the tail end of the interview train and yelling, commenting on my suit jacket, “YEAAHHH MAN, seersucker!”
